Sophia Blackman
Family, Marriage & Parenting Counselor
Life doesn’t always go the way we hoped. Sometimes marriage becomes distant, parenting feels overwhelming, anxiety takes over, or family relationships become more exhausting than fulfilling. In those moments, you don’t need someone to judge your story—you need someone willing to walk through it with you.
Sophia has a genuine passion for helping individuals, couples, children, and families find hope again. She believes that every person has a story worth hearing, every family has the capacity to grow, and no relationship is beyond restoration.
With degrees in Social Work and Christian Counseling, Sophia has spent her career serving people through some of life’s most difficult circumstances. She has worked alongside individuals experiencing trauma, addiction, homelessness, mental health challenges, family conflict, medical recovery, and major life transitions. Those experiences have shaped not only her professional expertise, but also her deep compassion for people who simply need someone to believe in them.
Sophia’s counseling style is warm, encouraging, and practical. She blends proven therapeutic approaches with biblical wisdom to create a safe place where clients can be honest, find clarity, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change. Whether you’re working through marriage struggles, parenting challenges, personal obstacles, or family conflict, her goal is to help you move from feeling stuck to experiencing genuine hope and healthy connection.
Outside of counseling, Sophia enjoys investing in her own faith and family. She attends Real Life Church in Hayden, where her relationship with Christ continues to shape both her life and her passion for serving others with grace, authenticity, and compassion.
Sophia believes healing is possible, relationships can be restored, and families can thrive. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside each client as they discover renewed purpose, stronger relationships, and the life God created them to live.
